Description

The Carillon is a mid-18th century house, originally a pair of cottages. It’s constructed of roughcast rubble limestone with gritstone dressings, featuring coped gables, a moulded kneeler on the east gable, end ridge brick stacks, and a plain tiled roof. The two-storey, three-bay facade has glazing bar sashes in plain stone frames. There are off-centre coupled doorways with massive lintels and four-panelled doors, the upper two panels glazed.
