Description

This boundary stone, located on the north side of Sheffield Road in the parish of Baslow and Bubnell, dates from the early 19th century. It is made of rectangular gritstone and is painted white, featuring black lines that divide it into two panels with rounded tops. The stone has black lettering inscribed with "TOWNSHIP OF BASLOW" and "TOWNSHIP OF HOLMSFIELD."
