Description

This milestone, located approximately 1000 metres east of the junction with Windleden Lane in Langsett, dates from the early 19th century. It is made of stone and features a rounded top. The milestone has well-crafted incised letters that indicate the distances to Barnsley, which is 14 miles away, and Manchester, which is 22 miles away.
