Description

The barn at Marl House, dated 1721, is constructed of coursed gritstone with gritstone dressings and features a stone slate roof. It is two storeys high. On the east elevation, there are three ventilation slits below a chamfered doorcase that has a quoined surround. Above the doorcase, there is a lintel with a datestone inscribed 'E I E 1721'. This building is included for its group value.
