Description

Park Hall is a small country house, dating from around 1812, that has been divided into two dwellings. It is constructed of ashlar gritstone and features a hipped slate roof with leaded ridges. The building has various ashlar triple stacks with moulded tops, a moulded cornice, and a low parapet. It is two storeys high, with a central block and a recessed long wing to the east, as well as an orangery to the west.

The south elevation has an advanced central bay with a doorcase supported by four Ionic columns. The central panelled door is topped by a rectangular fanlight, with glazed lights situated between the columns and an entablature above. On either side of the central bay, there are three tall glazing bar sashes. Above the door, there are three-light mullioned windows with moulded architraves and mullions, along with additional glazing bar sashes on either side.

The west elevation features two canted bay windows with full height glazing bar sashes flanking a central glazed door. Above this, there are three glazing bar sashes. At the north corner, there is a single storey orangery that includes three full height glazing bar sashes. To the east, the recessed wing is made of rubble gritstone and has two glazing bar sashes and a door with arched lights. Above this wing, there are three similar glazing bar sashes, all with flush stone surrounds. Further east, there is a 19th-century wing that is slightly taller, featuring a single sash below and a cut-away corner supported by a metal column, with two plain sashes above.
