Description

Rosedene is a mid-18th century house located off Main Street in the parish of Winster. The house is built of rubble limestone with gritstone dressings. It has flush quoins, plain gables, brick ridge stacks, and a stone slated roof. Originally, it had two storeys and two bays, featuring former two-light flush mullioned windows, now fitted with 20th-century joinery within the original surrounds. A massive stone surround frames the central doorway, which now has a 20th-century glazed door. The building is listed for group value only.
