SK 24 60 PARISH OF WINSTER WOODHOUSE LANE 3/65 (West Side) ) ' Inglenook' GV II

House, formerly two single-bay cottages. Early C18. Coursed rubble gritstone and limestone, incorporating earlier quoining, coped north gable, moulded kneeler end ridge stacks, that to the north end in brick. Welsh slate-roof with mid-wall break. Two storeys, two bays, with 2-light flush mullioned windows to north end, that to upper floor with low attic lights on window head of first floor opening, giving mullioned and transomed appearance. South end has C19 openings with stone frames, one C18 sash with a C19 casement above. Two doorways, the one to the south with massive jambs and keyblock, now blocked to form window. Plain opening to north end with four-panelled door, with glazed upper panels.
