Description
Middle Baxton's Farmhouse is a house built in the first half of the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a pantile roof with brick stacks. The house has a central hallway entry and a service wing at the rear. It stands two storeys tall and has three windows on the first floor. The entrance includes a 20th-century half-glazed door set within a wrought-iron porch, which is flanked by two 2-light casement windows that have stone sills and lintels. On the first floor, there is a central casement window with a wooden sill and lintel, flanked by two more casement windows that also have stone sills and lintels. The roof is swept with gable coping and includes a small 20th-century skylight, along with end stacks.
