Description
Stiltons Farm is a house built in the late 18th century. It features hammered coursed limestone with herringbone tooled quoins and a Westmorland slate roof, along with brick stacks. The layout consists of a central hallway plan with two rooms in depth, an outshut to the left, and a cross wing at the rear. The building is three storeys high and has a symmetrical facade with three bays. The entrance includes a six-panel door, where the top two panels are glazed, situated beneath a divided oblong fanlight within a 20th-century wooden porch. To the left of the door is a three-light casement window, while to the right is a three-light Yorkshire sash window. The first floor features casements and a fire insurance plaque, and the second floor has squat three-light Yorkshire sashes. All openings have flat arches, and the gable has coping with shaped kneelers.
