Description
Keld Runnels Farmhouse is a farmhouse that includes a former outbuilding, dating from the late 18th century with some alterations from the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble sandstone and features a pantile roof. The building has one and a half storeys and a symmetrical front, with a central stairhall plan that is one and a half rooms deep, extending into the outbuilding on the right.
The front has a central four-panel door with a rectangular fanlight above it. The ground floor has four-pane casements and the extension also features four-pane windows. There are two half-dormers with four-pane pointed sashes, and the bargeboards are pierced and scalloped, topped with finials. All ground floor openings are adorned with heavy stone lintels. At the rear, there are two-light horizontal sliding sashes with glazing bars, with the lower one featuring voussoirs. The gables are coped with plain kneelers and there are end stacks.
