Description
Holly Lodge is an early 18th-century house located in Carlton. It is constructed of brick in a stretched Flemish garden wall bond and features a pantiled roof with stone copings and kneelers, as well as brick and rendered stacks. The building has two storeys and three bays. The central entrance consists of a 20th-century studded plank door set in a gabled trellis porch, with a two-light casement window above. The other windows are tripartite 19th-century sliding sashes, with those on the ground floor positioned under segmental relieving arches. A stepped brick cornice runs below the swept eaves, and there are drip-moulded kneelers. The right end chimney is rendered, while the left end chimney has been rebuilt.
