Description
Home Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of brick and has an old plain tile roof. The building is positioned end on to the road and is 1 and a half storeys high, featuring three bays with a wing at the rear of the far bay. A wall runs along the road from the rear of the end bays, and these are connected by a low service building to create a courtyard.
The garden front includes a central gabled porch with bargeboards and a pointed opening. On each side of the porch, there are three-light segmental head casements set at different levels. Above each bay, there is a two-light casement in a gabled dormer, and all windows are leaded. The roof is half-hipped, and there is a cruciform section stack made of yellow brick over the road end bay.
