Description
Badminston Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid-18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of brick, rendered, and features an old plain tile roof. The building is two stories high and has three bays in a double pile configuration with a U-shaped roof and a slightly projecting wing in front of one end bay. The road-facing side includes a lower roofed projecting wing in front of the right-hand bay. To the left side of this wing, there is a 19th-century single-storey, square-plan porch with a glazed door set in segmental head openings. The windows are generally two-light casements, except for the ground floor left-hand bay. The roof is hipped to the left at one end, with the hip continuing as the roof of the garden front, which is at right angles to the main elevation. There is a large external stack at the left end of the building.
