Description

Ashlett House is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed of yellow brick with a slate roof. It is a two-storey, three-by-three bay building. The road-facing front has a central double door with two panes of glass, beneath an open Doric porch composed of two columns and two pilasters, topped with an entablature and flat roof. Each side of the entrance has a sixteen-pane sash window with a rubbed brick arch above. The first floor features three smaller, similarly styled sash windows. The roof is hipped and overhangs, with a ridge stack positioned on the right-hand return and another on the left-hand end wall. A similar front overlooks the sea.
