Description

Palace Lane Cottage is a cottage from the 17th century that has been altered and extended in the 18th and 19th centuries. It features a timber-frame structure with painted brick infill and extensions. The cottage is one storey high and has three bays. The front displays exposed timber-frame on the right-hand bay. To the right of the centre, there is a ledged door beneath a hood. Each bay contains a two-light casement window with a segmental head. Above the centre and right-hand bay, there is a two-light casement in a gabled former. The roof is half-hipped, and there is a ridge stack to the left of the centre.
