Description
Woodside Cottage is a cottage that likely dates from the late 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and early to mid-20th centuries. It is constructed of plastered cob and features a hipped thatched roof along with brick stacks. There are 20th-century additions made of brick and corrugated iron, which also have corrugated iron roofs. The cottage is one storey high with an attic and consists of two bays. To the left side and rear, there is a single-storey lean-to addition. A central gabled porch made of corrugated iron covers a wide part-glazed door. On either side of the door, there are recessed 2-light, 4-pane casement windows with timber lintels and concrete cills. Above these, similar windows can be found in brick eyebrow dormers. The eaves display the exposed feet of old rafters. There is an external stack at the left end and another at the rear right corner. The interior has not been inspected.
