Description

This sundial, located approximately 20 meters north of St Michael's Church in Hawkshead, dates back to 1693, although the date is worn. It features a stone square step with a hollow chamfered base and a square shaft that is chamfered with jewel stops. The sundial has a moulded cap, but the gnomon is missing.
