Description
This sundial, located approximately 26 metres to the northeast of the chancel of the Church of St Michael, dates from the early 18th century. It is made of dressed red sandstone and features a square step and a square chamfered base. The sundial has a square section baluster with a moulded waist and neck, topped by a square dial block. The dial plate, likely reset in the 18th century, is made of copper and has a crudely fixed 20th-century gnomon. The maker's name and date were illegible during the survey conducted in June 1985.
