Description
Upper Eyton Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed from roughly squared and coursed Alberbury breccia and red sandstone, featuring red sandstone quoins and red brick dressings, topped with a slate roof. The building is designed in an L-shape and stands three storeys tall, with a two-storey rear wing. It has a dentil brick eaves cornice and an external stone end stack on the left with a red brick top, along with integral brick end stacks on the right and at the rear wing. The facade consists of three bays with glazing bar sashes that have painted lintels. The second floor features three-light wooden casements flanking a central segmental-headed two-light wooden casement. The central entrance is a half-glazed door with two beaded flush lower panels and six panes above, surrounded by panelled reveals, a reeded architrave with paterae at the corners, a moulded cornice, and a flat porch supported by square columns. The interior has not been inspected but is noted to have panelled window shutters.
