Description
This is a sundial located approximately 4 metres to the south-east of the Church of St. Michael. It was built in the early 19th century and is made of grey sandstone in the Gothic Revival style. The sundial has an octagonal plan with a stepped, double-chamfered base. The shaft features lancet panels, a string course, and a crenellated top. The copper dial plate is inscribed with "G. ADAMS LONDON". At the time of the survey in July 1985, the gnomon was missing.
