Description

This is a barn located opposite Iredale Place Cottage, dating from the late 17th century. It features whitewashed slate walls and a graduated greenslate roof, with a corrugated roof on an extension. The barn is two storeys high and has three bays. There are two doorways with chamfered surrounds and a central loft doorway also with a chamfered surround. An off-centre buttress is present, and there are upper-floor openings on two levels. To the left, there is a single-storey extension with a sliding plank door. The barn is listed for its group value with Iredale Place Cottage.
