Description

Gill Brow Cottage is a late 18th-century farmhouse. It is built of whitewashed slate rubble with a graduated greenslate roof and brick chimney stacks. The original two-bay section is accompanied by a left extension, both under a common roof. A panelled door is located on the left side, and sash windows are set within painted stone surrounds. A pent-roofed washhouse extension sits to the left, featuring a side plank door and a casement window. The cottage is listed for group value with Gill Brow.
