CLAIFE FAR SAWREY SD 39 NE Sawrey Fold Farmhouse 6/38 GV II

Farmhouse. Diamond panel reads: "WB/1700". Roughcast stone with slate roof. 2 storeys, 4 bays, the 1st bay lower, possibly later. Windows have 2-light casements, but that to 4th bay of ground floor has 3-light casement; 2nd bay of ground floor has 2 windows. Entrances to 1st and 3rd bays have gabled trellis porches. Gable-end stacks are corbelled out and have round shafts. Rear has gabled wing with end corbelled stack and window with horizontally sliding sash; re-entrant stair wing under cat slide roof adjoining wing.
