Description

Canons Cottage is a blacksmith's shop that has been converted into a garden shed. It dates from the early 18th century and features whitewashed slate rubble walls beneath a graduated greenslate roof, which includes small round slate chimney stacks. The building is 1½ storeys high and consists of 2 bays. It has a central plank door flanked by casement windows with glazing bars, all set in plain reveals. The left window is located in a large blocked doorway. There is also a small attic staircase window on the right side, along with small ground-floor windows at the rear and a lean-to fuel shed.
