Shop with offices over, formerly house. Early to mid C19. Rendered, slate roofs. In 2 parts; the older, 3-storey range to the right, and later 2-storey, in the same plane, left. The earlier range has 2 casements at second floor with margin-pane glazing, above 3 at first floor in 1, 2 and 1 lights with diamond panes in cast-iron. At ground floor a full-width C20 display window with door. A stack to the left gable. The lower range has two 2-light casements with horizontal bars above a full-width C20 shop-front with door, and a plain return to the left. The main gable to the right (N) has a 2-light margin-pane casement to the second floor, with another at first floor plus a doorway at the head of an external staircase; the ground floor has a C20 display window. The building is in very shallow depth, and is backed against the rising slope of Mars Hill. INTERIOR not inspected. An early photograph in Loveless shows the ground floor in the 3-storey range with a single sash. The property was damaged in the 1952 floods.
