Description

No. 17 North Street is a house with a shop, dating from the early 19th century, with a shop front added in the late 19th century. The building underwent extensive reconstruction in 1990. It features rendered walls and a slated roof, standing three storeys tall and two windows wide. The shop front includes two display windows that are canted in the center, leading to a recessed shop door. Flanking pilasters with reeded brackets above them form the ends of an entablature. There is a cart entrance to the left. The upper storeys have 6-paned sash windows. The interior has been gutted.
