Description

The monument to William Wingfield Yates is a memorial stone dating from around 1858. It takes the form of a small granite obelisk set on a chamfered granite plinth. The inscription reads, "Erected by the inhabitants of the Parish to perpetuate the memory of Wm Wingfield Yates who died at Holne Cott the 28th day of February 1857."
