Description

This is a circa 18th century terrace of four cottages located in The Village, Holne. The buildings are situated on a sloping site and stepped downhill, adjoining Corner Cottage. They are constructed from stone rubble with a roughcast finish to the ground floor and slate hung to the first floor. The roof is asbestos slate with gabled ends. The terrace has two storeys and a four-window front. The windows are largely C19 three-light casements with glazing bars. A C20 porch features on the front. Large rendered chimney stacks emerge from the ridges at the centre of each pair of cottages. The roof structure dates to the 20th century.
