Description
This is an outbuilding located about 25 metres north-west of Colesworthy Farmhouse, likely built in the early 19th century. It is constructed from slatestone rubble with large squared granite blocks used for the quoins and has a hipped slated roof. The building has two storeys. The southeast front features a wide central doorway with 20th-century sliding doors, and there is a window with a wooden lintel at either end of the ground floor. Above the central sliding doors, there is a small loading doorway, and to the left of this is a taller loading door with a granite threshold, which has a plank door fitted with old wrought-iron strap-hinges. There are seven pigeon-holes just below the eaves. When it was originally listed, the outbuilding contained an old horse mill in perfect condition and a cider press.
