Description

ILSINGTON SX 87 NW 4/74 Outbuilding about 25 metres north- west of 23.8.55 Colesworthy Farmhouse (formerly listed with Colesworthy) GV II

Outbuilding. Probably early C19. Slatestone rubble with large squared granite blocks for quoins. Hipped slated roof. 2 storeys. South-east front has wide centre doorway with C20 sliding doors. Window with wood lintel at either end of ground storey. Small loading doorway over centre sliding doors. Taller loading door with granite threshold to left of it. This has plank door with old wrought- iron strap-hinges. 7 pigeon-holes just below the eaves. When originally listed it contained an "old horse mill in perfect condition" and a cider press.
