Description

This is a fragment of a wayside cross, likely dating from the 15th century. It is made from granite ashlar and consists of a single piece of granite. The damaged cross head stands approximately 400 millimeters high and is set into the top of a roadside bank. The top and left arm of the cross are missing, and the remaining parts are plainly finished without chamfers.
