Description

This is a wayside cross, likely from the 19th century but designed to resemble a medieval cross. It is made of granite and features a chamfered shaft of different origins, with straight hollow stops in a later granite socket stone. At the top, there is a much weathered head with two arms and a head. In the center of the head, there are remains of a raised design that has weathered beyond recognition. It is said that the top of the cross includes reused window mouldings on a mounting block.
