Description

Addiscott Cross is a wayside cross, likely dating from the 15th century. It is made from granite ashlar and stands approximately 1.5 meters high, crafted from a single piece of granite. The arms and shaft of the cross are chamfered and feature run-out stops. There is possibly a secondary socket stone with a chamfered top. A 19th-century sketch indicates that the cross has been re-erected since that time.
