Description
Woodbine Cottage is a small house dating from the late 17th century to the 18th century. It is constructed of coursed, roughly squared stone and features a stone slate roof. The building consists of main and cross wings, each one bay and one and a half storeys high.
On the road side, there is a plinth and a 2-light casement window with an iron opening light and a moulded timber lintel. To the right, there is a vertical joint leading to a 3-light mullioned window with a plain chamfer and no hoodmould. On the first floor, there is a 2-light casement window in a gabled dormer on the left, and a 2-light mullioned window in the parapet gable, similar to the one below. A brick chimney is located on the left return gable.
There is a later attached house on the right that is not of special interest. Woodbine Cottage forms a group with the Rectory nearby. The entrance is located at the rear.
