Description
Manor Farm Cottages is a small house located at the end of a row in Snowshill, dating from the 17th century with later alterations. It is constructed from roughly squared, coursed stone and features a stone slate roof. The building stands two and a half storeys high and has three windows.
On the left side, there is a three-light mullioned stone window with a hoodmould, although the wall below has been disturbed. A doorway has been blocked, and next to it is a two-light mullioned window with a vertical joint in the stonework. To the right, there is a half-glazed door that is accessed by one concrete step, topped with a stone lintel and sheltered by a lean-to wooden porch with boarded and trellis sides.
There is another three-light mullioned window to the right, featuring an original iron opening light and a hoodmould above it. Above this, there is a three-light mullioned window with an iron opening light to the left, a vertical joint, and a two-light mullioned window, along with a three-light wooden casement that also has an iron opening light.
The roof has three gabled dormers, each containing a two-light casement. The left gable has a parapet and an ashlar chimney on the ridge, with an additional chimney on the right gable. This building forms a group with Nos 1-3 and Snowshill Manor.
