Description

The Old Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century or 18th century. It is constructed of roughcast stone and features a slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays. On the ground floor, there is a three-light wood chamfered-mullion window in the first bay and a window with small-paned casement in the third bay. The first floor includes a three-light wood chamfered-mullioned window in the second bay and a window with small-paned fixed glazing in the third bay. The entrance is marked by a gabled open porch. A gable-end stack is present, while the left side of the building has 20th-century casements. The right side features sashed windows with glazing bars and horns. At the rear, there is a large 20th-century wing.
