Description
This is a barn located to the south of Field Head Farmhouse, possibly dating from the 16th or 17th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a slate roof. The barn has five bays and is supported by cruck trusses. The eastern end bay is slightly raised and includes a cow house below. The south facade has a barn entrance that is elevated above the eaves, covered by a raking roof. The north facade features a smaller entrance and an entrance to the former cow house, which has a blocked entrance to the left. The cruck trusses include windbraces, with one featuring a tie beam and collar, another with cruck spurs and collar, and the remaining two with cruck spurs.
