Description
This coach house, dating from the mid-19th century, is located approximately 5 meters south of the barn at Wick Hill Farm. It was built for Lord Ellenborough and features coursed squared and dressed limestone with finely dressed stone quoins and dressings, topped with a slate roof. The building has a rectangular plan and is one and a half storeys high. The ground floor includes segmental-headed plank doors, while there is a segmental-headed plank pitching door leading to the loft above. A ventilation slit is positioned towards the apex of the gable, and there is a four-light skylight on the west-facing roof pitch. The interior has not been inspected. This coach house is included for its group value with the nearby structures.
