Description

The gate piers and enclosing wall attached to Mill Cottage date from the early 19th century. The piers are made of limestone ashlar, measuring approximately 800 mm square and standing 3 meters high, topped with pyramidal caps. They create a 3-meter opening that features 20th-century wooden gates, which are not included in the listing. The flank walls extend to the right towards Mill Cottage and about 4.5 meters to the left, standing around 2.8 meters high and topped with heavy weathered capping.
