Description

Granary Cottage is a detached cottage dating from the 17th century to the mid-18th century, with later alterations in the 19th and early 20th centuries. The main body of the building is timber-framed with painted brick infill set on a stone plinth, and features a red tile roof. A painted brick extension was added to the rear, to the right side. The layout is rectangular for the original section, with the extension to the rear right. The main body is one-and-a-half storeys high, with two 2-light dormers in the eaves of the garden front. The ground floor windows are 20th-century casements with glazing bars. A 20th-century glazed door with glazing bars is centrally positioned on the garden front. A further 20th-century door is located at the rear of the timber-framed main body. The interior was not inspected.
