Description

The wash house, built around 1905, is located approximately 25 meters west of and shared by Nos 1 and 2 (The Palaces) in Dumbleton Village. It was designed by the same architect as Nos 1-4 The Palaces. The structure is made of coursed squared and dressed limestone, topped with a stone slate roof and features red brick stacks. It has a 'T'-shaped plan and is a single storey. On the north side, there are two 2-light stone-mullioned casements, and the northwest side has two plank doors for each part. The roof is hipped, and there is an axial stack with segmental upright stones at the top. The interior has not been inspected.
