Description
The former wash house, dating from the 19th century, is located approximately 5 meters south of Duckleston Mill. It is constructed from coursed squared and dressed limestone, topped with a stone slate roof featuring an ashlar stack. The building has a rectangular plan that is set into a bank. The north gable end features a wide 19th-century plank door, with a single light window above it. On the left-hand return, there is a two-light casement window with glazing bars, positioned over a stone trough set into the wall. The interior is not accessible. This structure is included for its group value.
