Description
This building is a barn and attached pigsties, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century, with a later extension. It is located approximately 15 metres north-west of School Farm and runs parallel to the road. The structure is primarily made of brick, with the later extension featuring blue lias and brick. The roof is covered with red tiles, and the barn has a rectangular plan with a sandstone and brick extension at the west gable end, while the pigsties are located at the east gable end.
The barn features opposing double plank doors, one of which is partially blocked. There are ventilation slits and holes arranged in the form of a cross on the north and south walls, as well as at the east gable end. The building also has brick dentils, flat coping, and kneelers at the gable ends. The blue lias and brick extension includes a pitching door in the north wall. The interior is not accessible.
