Description
Sunnyside is a wide front house located on the north side of Gloucester Street in Winchcombe. It is an early 19th century building, possibly incorporating some 18th century elements. The house is constructed of limestone ashlar and features a chamfered plinth. It has a concrete tile roof with a brick stack positioned off-centre to the left. The building consists of one storey and an attic, with two gabled dormers; the right-hand dormer extends through to the eaves. There are two cross-mullioned wooden casements with leaded glazing, which are centered above a 20th century battened door that is accessed by three steps on the far left. Additionally, there is a 19th century plank and batten part-glazed door set in a deep reveal, leading to a throughway that is also reached by three steps. The house is included in the listing primarily for its group value.
