House in row. Probably C16 or C17, but with C18 front, earlier C18 back wing. Rendered, slate front slope and tile rear to roof, brick stacks. A deep building in 2 parts; the front unit formerly with steep-pitched roof had the front raised to low-pitched slate, but early timber-framing can be seen in the gable to the W and to the side passage. 3 storeys and basement, 1-windowed. Plain sashes in exposed boxes. Coped parapet, brick stack at front corner, left. The entrance is a C20 door in the throughway to the right, under No.75 (qv). At back a lower 2-storey wing to gabled end with toothed verge course, and with lofty stack. INTERIOR not inspected.
