Description

70 Church Street is a house in a row that also functions as a restaurant. The front dates from the mid to late 18th century, while the rear is from the 17th century. It features Flemish bond brickwork, a tile roof, and a rendered stack.

The building is three storeys tall with a basement and has two windows. The upper floors have four-pane sash windows with brick voussoirs, a central fluted and coped keystone, and stone cills. The ground floor is rendered and includes a central 20th-century door, along with a notable six-panel 18th-century door to the left that leads to a former throughway, which also provides access to No. 69. The building has a coped parapet and a large rendered stack on the right.

The interior has not been inspected.
