Description
No. 71 Church Street is a house with a shop, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features Flemish brickwork, a tile roof, and a brick stack. The building has three storeys, an attic, and a basement, with a single-windowed façade. Above a large 16-pane sash window, there is a two-light raked dormer, which is complemented by fine brick voussoirs and stone cills. The ground floor has a 20th-century shop front and door, along with a basement grille. The mansard roof has a coped parapet and a hipped end, with a brick stack on the right side. The sides of the property show straight joints. At the back, there is a narrow mansard gable featuring two-light casements with half-brick segmental heads. The interior has not been inspected.
