Description
The monument to Reverend Ralph Bourne Baker is located in the churchyard of the Church of St. Mary, approximately 6 metres north of the north aisle. It is a chest tomb dedicated to Reverend Ralph Bourne Baker of Hasfield Court, who died in 1875, as well as other members of the Baker family. The tomb features a stepped plinth and its sides are divided into three panels adorned with blind cusped decoration. There is a heraldic shield at the left-hand end. The tomb is capped with a hipped top that has intertwined wheat and vine decoration around its lower part. A railing surrounds the tomb, supported by small square blocks, which also feature blind tracery.
