Description

The gate piers, railings, and gate at The Lodge were built around 1904, likely at the same time as the main building. The gate features ashlar piers that stand approximately 5 meters tall, topped with pyramidal caps and ball finials. There is an additional matching pier for a single-width entrance beside the main entrance. The boundary is enclosed by spear-headed railings on three sides, with ball finials on the piers that flank the cast iron gate within the railings. The railings were produced by Bayliss Ltd of Wolverhampton.
