Description

The gate and railings surrounding Thimble Cottage at Middle Stanley Farm were created around 1904 by Bayliss Ltd of Wolverhampton. Made of cast iron, the railings enclose the property on all four sides. They feature spear-headed designs and stanchions. On the east side, there is a single-width gate that matches the railings, flanked by cast iron piers topped with ball finials.
