Description
The fingerpost at the junction of the B4077 and Church Lane is likely from the early 20th century. It was originally fitted with a post box, which was removed in the late 20th century.
The structure features an ashlar base that is approximately 1 meter square, with a plinth and a chamfered capping stone. Atop the plinth is a circular cast-iron finial, which holds three painted direction arms made from sheet iron shaped like pointing hands. These arms indicate the directions to Stow-on-the-Wold, Tewkesbury, and Toddington, with the names displayed in black painted lettering.
